Liam's Blog: Hi I am Liam and I am writing to all of my friends and past
teachers and even family in America or say Saki in Japan. I really miss all of
you and it is extremely hard to write this without crying. I wish I was with
you all. I feel bad I cannot play with any of you and I forgot to say I miss Blaze
a lot too. “Thank you Nana Susan for taking care of him.” I would like if you
all could comment saying how your summer is going. It was really hard to leave
you behind and come here. Right now we are doing fine it is around 9:45 on the
1st of July And I have been struggling to see the keys because eyes
are filled with tears and when Mom gets back ask her how we are doing because Mom and the rest of us will keep in good touch I hope.
And I almost forgot
Heejae. I hope you are feeling Ok in Korea bye.

Hi Liam!!! We love you and miss you very much too! I hope you get this comment. I know traveling can be hard. It's hard to be away from people and things that are familiar and that we love. But hang in there. You are getting the experience of a lifetime, something most kids can only dream of, even though it can be hard to see that sometimes. We had such a great time with you when we were traveling with you. You are so much fun! So funny! And you always have really interesting things to say and really interesting perspectives on the things around you. We can't wait to hear about all of your travels on this blog and when you get back. Try to focus on the good things as best you can, even though I know it can be hard. Keep blogging. We love to hear from you.

ReplyDeleteit's Tanya. We drove by your house earlier tonight. The grass is very green and the giant blue evergreen tree in your front yard is standing there very tall, as always. Although the trees are in need of climbing... Luke is playing baseball these days and is into birds. He likes the Peregrine Falcon because it is fast. I bet you can see some cool birds out there. Max is still very playful and runs around all over the place. They both keep asking when you will get back. The raspberry bushes at our house are getting big. I think you will get back right when they are ready for picking. Hope you and Gracie will come. I know it doesn't feel like it right now but to go and see the world is a gift that you will remember for the rest of your life. It must feel like a million years but when you get back it will only have been a couple of months. Kind of like Narnia. But hot! And no wicked witch. Whew. Can you see the stars? The Big Dipper is showing in our neighborhood. When Luke and Max wake up in the morning, they will write to you. Right now it is 10:50pm in Minnesota and they are asleep. How is Gracie? How is Carrie? How about your Mom and Dad? Big hugs to everyone.

DeleteHi Liam this is Luke. I haven't been able to play Kirby except on the screen time day, but my Mom said I might be able to play on the weekend. I've been going to a camp at the U of M that is called the Wizarding World of Wildlife. We went to the raptor center and it was kind of like Harry Potter because there was a house cup, but it was stolen. So we had to find it. First we found a bunch of clues, but then in the end the last clue said it would be somewhere so deep and in a box that we would never find it. But anyway we found the house cup.
ReplyDeleteThe other camp that I went to was called Super Silly Science and it was at the Friends school. What we did there was, if you know what borax is, we used it a lot. We made play doe that we could eat. We also made a lava lamp.
I miss climbing your trees with you and going into your tree fort.
I have also been playing baseball for a while and we are in first place!
Today is the 4th of July and we are going to a parade and then a park to play. And then around maybe 8 - 9 pm we might be doing our own fireworks.
Oh yeah, we have been growing pumpkins and they have started to bloom. Please write back, Luke.

DeleteHi Liam! Skye and I are excited to see you in a few weeks. 2 days ago, we went in to Washington DC to apply for visas for China. After going to the wrong place, we got to the right place only to discover we didn't have all the documents! It ended up being ok though, because we just paid extra to get someone to help us. Meanwhile, we had great conversations and were generally entertained.
ReplyDeleteWe only have a few weeks until we leave, so Skye is busily learning Mongolian phrases from the phrase book and thinking about what to pack.

Hey Liam!!! Serena is off playing in a soccer tournament in California so she won't be able to respond for a day or two. I am having a great time here at the bower, although this whole hot weather thing is a bit much, but what we get here is probably pretty mild next to what you're getting. Anyway, i am working as a lifeguard and reading every book i can get my hands on and enjoying every minute of it. I am headed back to school on the 10th of August which seems like a long ways away until i look at a calendar and realize that its right around the corner. We are all doing very well here at the Bower but missed you all terribly at Bower weekend :(

I can't believe you are in Vietnam and do many other cool places! I hope we can play together soon. I've been building a lot of cities in minecraft. Everet has used your Xbox profile a few times so hope that is ok. I've been hiking and camping around the Olympic peninsula a bunch this summer and swimming in lots of lakes. I miss you so much!
